My computer will not boot any further than the second black page, tried rebooting no change, what can I do.

I recently turned on my pc and it got as far as the second black page with white code - finishing with 'mouse driver installed'. It won't go any further than this. I have tried rebooting repeatedly but it does not make any difference. Any ideas?

Try booting in safe mode Check your configurations to make sure everything is okay, then reboot.
