Computer hanging?

When I added and adaptec cd creator software to my machine in hung when rebooted. When I start up my machine I get an OE exception error and fatal exception error (blue Screen) saying a VXD error. It will boot in safe mode only and I removed the Adaptec software in safe mode but continue to have the problem.
