Porn charges and long distance charges from

Question

I've gotten porn charges and long distance charges from "entertainment" sites on my phone bill when Ihave not accessed these sites. If I changed to DSL or cable from a dial up service would I eliminate the potential of getting these charges? I also get lots of porn spam that I can't seem to get rid of.

Make sure someone else is not using your phone and computer to go to these web sites I dont see how they can do this Try installing a firewall (I use Nortons) so that they arent controling your computer from another source.
