Uninstalling a program

Hi I,v tryed to unistall a program i downloaded but i get message Could Not Open INSTALL.LOG.file .Used add &remove and program menu and safe mode NO JOY

how can i fix this

Hello, you can reinstall the programme from the Internet and you must be connect Then make a copy of the folders produced so that, should the same thing happen again, you have a backup of them Then try uninstall again.

If this doesn't work, programs has their own uninstall setup in their folder look for it If it doesn't has then there is one alternative: remove the program through registry entries which is sometimes necessary (usually caused by deleting something)

the clsid not being cleared is not really a big deal, it simply becomes a registry orphan (unassociated).
