How to fix monitor.

My monitor turns off just before windows is displayed. The system starts up fine then half way though loading the monitor loses signal. its not the monitor as i have tryed other monitors. I hav'nt altered anything, all i did was transport the machine to a different house. The power settings have never worked properly, if one went to "shut down" the machine would "reset". Thank you

What I suggest you do is first check that the power supply connector is firmly in place Next check the power connector on both the monitor and your computer, make sure none of the prongs are bent Also check the outlet with another appliance and make sure the outlet can handle the amount of energy being used.
