I fdisked windows 95 to replace itth a full version 98. After deleting the partitions and rebooting I am just getting " strike f1 to reboot, f2 for setup utility" Pressing f1 gives you the same statement again. Pressing f2 takes you to the bios. I get no dos prompt to start my boot disk. The light on the A drive lights up at the beginning but goes out and does not run the disk. Thanks

Hello my name is arturo, there is two suggestion;

1- You might want to check the CMOS setting to see the "Bootup Order", make sure drive A: is the first bootup and then the CD-rom and C: drive.

2- What kind of boot disk you have is a windows 95 or Windows98, I recommend to have a windows 98 bootdisk, if you have Windows 98 you can go to my computer properties and the last tab can create a boot disk automatically.

3- you might also can Hardware problem, you may have a fault floppy drive or floppy disk, check the data cabel inside you computer, the twist should be near the floppy drive.
