Can you explain my monitor? I was working on deleting some files last night on my computer, and after I finished, I rebooted only to see my monitor go blank. The computer booted up fine, went through the diagnostic screens, showed the ME logos, played the startup music, but then there was nothing on the screen but the mouse pointer. I could move it around but not click or see anything. I tried everything last night but couldn't fix it. Please help.

There are a couple things you can do, restart the computer in safe mode and adjust the display settings, you can check the cable pins for damages, try turning up the brightness, change the video driver to a standad VGA to see if that works or check the video graphic card to make sure it is not damage.
