The Recycle Bin icon appears on my desktop. When I delete a file I get the message that the deleted file will go to the recycle bin. When I open the recycle bin none of the deleted files appear on the menu, it is totally blank. The files are deleted, evidently bypassing the Recycle Bin.

I have noticed this problem just recently and someone told me that it was created by one of the automatic Microsoft updates. If so, I have no idea which one. How do I resolve this challenge and get the Recycle Bin to show the deleted files?

Please advise,

Robert Spies
