When I try to open an internet browser containing a java applet, the window immediatley closes itself. I had tried to update my java program, or whatever was being used to view the applets and it didnt work, so i deleted the java running program and reinstalled other ones several times, please tell me what program is required to run Java Applets, and also where to get it and how to fix my problem. Thank you

Hi, my name is arturo, you might want to do is to update your Windows Xp critical files, Some versions of Windows XP do not come with a Java VM (Java Virtual Machine) You will need to download the latest one from Sun (preferably 1.4.0), or get the Windows update and download the latest critical updates I suggest to downloard first the crital Windows update and then dowload the latest version of jave by their website.

Or you can go to this webpage "http://www.daytrade4less.com/support/msjavatest.html", this webpage can tell you if your java applet work or not.
