i recently had to erase my bios and when i set it back up it will not let me change/install the drivers for my video card and monitor. i've tried selecting the plug & play os option in the bios but that just gives me a blank screen. It worked just fine before i had to erase it.

I have:

Award Modular BIOS v6.0

BIOS Date: 4-29-02

BIOS ID: 04/29/2002-SIS745/IT8705F-A7S333

OEM Sign-On: ASUS A7S333 ACPI BIOS Revision 1003

Chipset: SiS 745 rev 1

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Version: 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1

thank you,

shane

Will when you install your os your motherboard info reconds to you hd so if your having problems like that spare the headach and format your hd and dont update your bios i never meet somebody that has updated and been no problems but if your just updating and you dont know what your doing than that could be a big problem cause you wont even know where to look and if you do than you won't know what to look for Format and do it over and you'll be glade you did to see it working like it once did before you was playing with your Bios for more info go to Asususa.com
