The Basics of Backup!

What would you miss if your computer data was lost today? Congratulate yourself if you said “Nothing”; because you either manage to keep nothing of value on your computer or you've learned how to back it up. As we’ve said many times before, it’s not a matter of if, but when.

As more and more of our lives are digitized, the integrity of all those 1’s and 0’s has become increasingly important. Family pictures, a vacation video, important business documents, personal financial and tax records could all be lost due to some unforeseen occurrence. The biggest mistake one can make is being overly reliant on a single form of data storage.

Hard drives fail, CDs scratch, and data gets corrupted. If you save anything of value on your computer, you don’t want to learn the hard way. Listen in to this week’s show as Ken, Chad, and (special guest) Chris Cabrera discuss backing up or the unpleasant consequences.
