Prepare for Cyber Monday
Black Friday is the notorious name for the Friday after Thanksgiving, when Christmas shopping officially begins its boom. The term Cyber Monday may sound like a day straight out of a sci-fi novel, but it’s actually a reference straight from the PC, referring to the Internet shopping day after Thanksgiving.
Imagine shopping with millions of other netizens and never waiting in a line, finding a parking spot, or even leaving your desk; oh, and online stores never close, allowing you to shop whenever you desire. Forty-three percent of online retailers will offer incentives such as special promos and discounts on Cyber Monday — anywhere from free shipping to percentage discounts.
However, having so many options can make online shopping confusing. How do you know you're getting the best deal, or that you're dealing with a reputable company? Online shopping can be a fun, safe, and highly efficient way to shop if you follow some simple guidelines. Tune in this weekend as Ken, Brandon, and Chad show you how to shop safe and smart.
