In business situations, the phone is inching closer and closer to the computer with automated menus, blackberry-like devices and PC-telephone integration.

Chip Jewelry: is a reference to the practice of making accessories from old technology components, and is used to refer to old computers or technology destined for the recycler. "I paid two grand for that computer a year ago, and now it's nothing but chip jewelery." Other equivalent terms are 'Boat Anchor' or 'Doorstop'.
