Smartthings has been shipping their starter kits for early backers and we’ve had a blast discovering all the ways that their control systems can be used.

Want to see if the garage is open or closed? Want to be alerted when there’s moisture in your basement? Want to turn lights on from work to make it look like someone is home?

That’s just the beginning of what can be done with the SmartThings platform; the more creative you can think the more interesting your home automation can be.
