Remotely Log Out Of Facebook

Have you ever hopped on a friends computer to check something online?

Then you wind up logging on to Facebook, and an hour later you decide to jump out for dinner.

The scenario we set up actually happened to a good friend of mine, what happened next wasn’t so good.

The two friends got into an argument at dinner and both left the restaurant not speaking to each other.

When he got home, the buddy opened his computer only to discover his former friend was still logged on to Facebook. He was now in control of his former friend’s account.

Now, there is a way to stop this from happening. Did you know you can remotely log out of Facebook? From a computer or smartphone, go into your account setting and click on the security section.

Now look at the bottom of the page for the word Active Sessions and click EDIT on a computer, or REMOVE on a smartphone.

Computer users will see a drop down list of all your open Facebook sessions. Simply choose the session or sessions you want to end, and you’re back in the drivers seat.
