The Blackphone is built from the ground up with a focus on security, so it has a proprietary Android-based operating system and lots of built-in encryption features.
At $629, this smartphone isn’t cheap and it will currently only work on GSM networks, so if you’re a Verizon, Sprint or US Cellular customer it’s not an option.
