Inbox Pause Add-on

E-mail...you can’t live without it, but it often becomes a distraction that can really throw off your productivity.

If your computer is setup to constantly alert you when a message arrives, constantly turning the notification setting on and off is a bit cumbersome

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just pause your incoming messages for a while sometimes?

Well, if you’re a Gmail user, there’s a free add-on for that and it’s called Inbox Pause.

Inbox Pause is a one trick pony that adds a button that allows you to pause and unpause your incoming messages with the click of a mouse.

You can also set it up to notify people that you are currently in Pause mode in case it’s an urgent matter.

A banner across the top reminds you when you’re in pause mode so you don’t forget.

Inbox Pause works with either Firefox or Chrome browsers:
