'Cache' Tip




When our computers aren’t performing properly, a call for help to a tech-savvy person usually starts with the process of restarting your computer to see if the problem goes away.

A similar troubleshooting tip for Internet problems calls for you to clear your browser’s cache.

This portion of your browser’s memory comes from previous sessions to the same website that can already be on your hard drive.

This allows your web pages to load faster because every element on the page isn’t being downloaded first.

This can also cause problems, from time to time, if something in the cache has been corrupted.

With this in mind, whenever you’re experiencing a problem getting a web page to load, try clearing the cache to see if things work better.

The process for doing this is somewhat the same for most browsers, but here’s a website that has the exact steps for most major browsers:
